British luxury motor yacht manufacturer, Fairline Yachts, announces it will showcase an exciting line-up of Squadron and Targa models at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, including the US premiere of the Squadron 48.
The impressive Squadron 48 personifies Fairline’s relentless pursuit of design excellence. Its expansive flybridge creates a truly sociable environment with a large seating area around a dining table that can be lowered to convert into a sunpad, forward-facing seating alongside the upper helm, and a submersible bathing platform which offers a spectacular way to enjoy the water. With a total length of 50ft 8in and a beam length of 14ft 2in, the Squadron 48 offers power of 870mhp and speeds of up to 30 knots – while still providing a cruise speed of 26 knots for a range of 260 nautical miles.
Russell Currie, Managing Director at Fairline Yachts, comments, “Fort Lauderdale is the world’s largest in-the-water boat show and it is a significant boat show for us. We are looking forward to presenting some of our most popular boats and meeting both new and current customers alike. We are keen to build on last month’s phenomenally successful Cannes Yachting Festival and Southampton Boat Show, where customer deposits were taken for boats across the Fairline range, including the Mancini-designed Targa 63 GTO, which will be launched in Summer 2017.
Alongside experiencing the Squadron 48, visitors to the Fairline stand will also be able to explore two of Fairline’s best-selling boats, including the Targa 53GT and the phenomenally popular Targa 48 OPEN.
