The Moody Decksalon 41 has been named Cruising Yacht of the Year 2020 at the British Yachting Awards. This special award is decided exclusively by online voting of the readers of British magazine Sailing Today with Yachts & Yachting.
In the coveted cruising yacht category, Moody was the only deck saloon yacht to beat Grand Soleil 42 LC, Arcona 345, Dufour 530, Elan GT6 and Beneteau Oceanis 40.1.
Decisive for the vote of the British sailing enthusiasts was, beside the innovative design, the 360° panoramic view in the deck saloon and the incomparable space on 41 feet.
Product Manager Andreas Unger: “This audience award is won at the base of the British sailing scene and thus reflects the current wishes and needs of sailors. We are very pleased to have hit the nerve of the time and to have met the requirements of a modern blue water yacht“.
